Nuestros
Pequenos Hermanos - Peru
Goal:
$1,000
Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos (NPH)
has a home in Bolivia for children who have been orphaned or abused. Many of
these kids have been abandoned or shuffled from one family member to another.
Like all children, they are seeking love and security, a place they can call
home. Once they arrive at NPH, they will never be asked to leave. The children
grow and learn in their own culture and language with the goal to become
contributing citizens in their countries. Many children arrive with several
brothers and sisters, and NPH promises to keep them together as a family
forever.
Over 100 children live in small
family-style homes in a remote lowland village, surrounded by trees and expansive green
fields. NPH Bolivia is fortunate to be near the community of Portachuelo, where
the secondary children attend the local parish school. This year we are raising
funds to help these kids with their education, and for creative art supplies
and P.E. supplies for their summer program.
