Once
again this year we are dreaming BIG! We are gathering our friends from school
and our community to join us to make a difference this holiday season AROUND
THE WORLD!
Thank
you so, so much to a generous supporter from the mainland, who has offered to
match the first $10,000.00 we raise for the “7 Continents Project” this year!
Please
join us to reach our goals and help kids and families everywhere! More
information on each individual project is available on this blog. We have a lot
going on, and this years projects include:
*Providing
protein and FOOD for the orphans in Uganda.
* Helping to save the Whale Sharks in
the Galapagos and Antarctica to protect them from poachers.
* Our 6th
annual “Operation Holiday Heroes” where we will provide gifts and other needs
to the wounded and sick soldiers and their families living at Fisher House at
Tripler Hospital.
*
Helping kids who live in SOS Villages care homes throughout Europe and Asia in
memory of Hannes Arch.
*
Providing backpacks, school supplies, and P.E. equipment for Maori tribal kids
in New Zealand and helping abused women in the local shelter.
*
Planting seeds and saplings in Borneo for a reforestation project designed to
protect both the environment and the endangered orangutan population.
*Providing
P.E.
equipment, art supplies, and hygiene supplies for the kids living in the
orphanage and now attending primary school classes in Bolivia.
